Artist's Comments

"And so, all the actors are in place. The play's name is: 'Tragedy at the Dawn'. The curtains are raising."

Translation: "Yeah so London is still like on fire and stuff but I think Hirano is going to end the manga soon because he said he wouldn't go past ten volumes and it's already the end of volume seven so what the hell let's all kill each other."

You know, I really don't like to have my desktop as the latest thing I submitted so I'll probably have something new soon, but SWEET FREAKING CHRIST is it annoying to have a message saying somebody added my desktop to their favorites when I stated quite clearly that I DO NOT LIKE people doing that. If you like it, great, but it has pretty much nothing to do with my gallery. It probably wouldn't have bothered me half as much if its subject matter (Full Metal Alchemist, great show/manga/novels) wasn't already freaking popular enough.

But this one? You people can do whatever the hell you want with this one. It's some Japanese person's fanart and actually a really big spoiler in some areas, but I needed an awesome Hellsing desktop desperately enough to enlarge the original image to fit my rediculously-high-but-actually-standard-these-days resolution. Thanks to Photoshop it doesn't look all that bad. I'd take time to explain what exactly this is and why it's the awesomest thing ever, but you're better off going to OneManga and reading the scans yourself.

If you live under a rock and couldn't tell already, this is clearly a Windows Vista interface, but my mom is cheap and bought the lame Home Basic version which is basically XP in Vista cosplay or something. Still, it looks nicer than XP does, but things like the sidebar can be provided with other programs. Still, I probably wouldn't have one if it wasn't standard on this thing. The taskbar's a big step up from XP's but I'm sick of it by now and I'm going to see what I can do about getting the Vista version of WindowBlinds or something.

Haha yeah. Vista has a very, very pretty interface. I like all the shinies and whatnot. I'm still on XP, though, for now anyway.

Vista! Evil.

Actually, I don't know really, but I hear it fails at life...

Oh, it does, in many ways. However, so far I've had no major issues with it. Any problem I've had with this computer had to do with hardware and nothing at all with Vista.

Besides, it's not like XP is all that great, either. At least this one looks nicer.
:iconcosmoscanine:
Unfortunately the fact that it's shiny is the best thing it has going for it right now, but I'm sure by the time most hardware/software companies have made the switch there'll be at least some fixes to it.
:icondigitails:
Heh. True enough, I suppose. I haven't really looked into Vista much.
